Efforts for Environment, Quality & Safety

Miyamoto Electric Horn upholds policies for environment, quality and safety, and all employees are committed to achieve objectives and actively involved in various activities.

Environment Policy
We recognize that the protection of the global environment is one of the most important issues for all of us living on earth; our basic principle is to strive to conserve the natural environment and take environmental concerns into account in our activities. We establish an environmental management system and continuously improve the system, aiming to minimize the environmental impact of our production processes.

Quality Policy
We take responsibility for and pride in contributing to the development of the society as an automobile parts manufacturer. We engage in production activities with the motto of encouraging originality and ingenuity to make excellent products for customer satisfaction and strive to continuously improve product quality and further develop the trust of customers.

Safety Policy
We implement various activities to prevent occupational accidents and establish a better work environment. Our objective is to have ZERO industrial accidents.

Environmental Management (ISO14001)

We acquired ISO 14001 Environmental Management System certification on April 23, 2004. We design environmentally friendly products, implement green procurement, conserve energy and resources, and improve work efficiency to reduce environmental load in a comprehensive manner.

Quality Management (ISO9001)

We acquired ISO 9001 Quality Management System certification on November 15, 2002. We strive to meet product requirements in compliance with regulatory requirements, and continuously improve the efficiency of our quality management system from the viewpoint of customer satisfaction including Q (quality), C (cost), D (delivery), D (development), and M (management).

5S (keep work areas clean & orderly) & Improvement Activities

All employees participate in 5S (Seiri (sorting), Seiton (organizing), Seiso (cleaning), Seiketsu (sanitizing), Shitsuke (sustaining)) and improvement activities to strive for high quality and cost reduction.
